West Island Line will very much be a Community Railway. Since the design stage of the project, the Corporation has engaged and consulted the community. Many views and opinions from the public have been adopted into the scheme as far as practicable. During the construction period, while disruptions are unavoidable, we will do our best to minimize the impact to the community.
We regularly update the Central and western District Council on the work progress.
