	Sheung Wan Station Modification works for the Sheung Wan Station have been completed. New public toilet facilities and two new lifts were opened for service on 26 August 2012.

	Sai Woo Lane & Queen's Road West At Sai Woo Lane site, structural work for the south shaft has started on Sai Ying Pun Station entrance at Queen’s Road West. Excavation in the north shaft is being carried out for the construction of Sai Ying Pun Station entrance at Des Voeux Road West. New Market Street The New Market Street grouting works have been completed. The road section was temporarily re-opened in February 2012 and the final reinstatement works will proceed in the second quarter of 2013. Ko Shing Street, Li Sing St & Des Voeux Road West Dismantling works for Sheung Wan Station overrun tunnels was completed in October 2012. At Ko Shing Street, the existing vent shaft was back filled and ventilation system will be removed in February 2013. Mechanical plant along Des Voeux Road West were removed. The associated road reinstatement and drainage works are expected to complete in the second quarter of 2013 together with the re-opening of Ko Shing Street.

	King George V Memorial Park Blast excavations are being carried out underground at the King George V Memorial Park work site. King George V Memorial Park Blasting for passenger adits is on-going underneath Second Street, Third Street, Eastern Street and Bonham Road. It is expected blasting to be completed around the second quarter of 2013. Ex-David Trench Rehabilitation Centre Shaft excavation works are being carried out for the construction of SYP station entrance at Bonham Road.       Ex-Centre Street Cooked Food Centre Shaft excavation works are ongoing for the construction of one of the Sai Ying Pun station entrances. The construction of decking to cover the work site is completed.     Ki Ling Lane Children’s Playground Structural works of SYP station entrance are in progress. The passenger adit will be constructed by ground freezing technique and the associated freezing units are installed within a noise enclosure. Haking Wong Building, HKU Shaft excavation works were completed and structural works have started at the base of the shaft to form the entrance of Hong Kong University Station. Ex-Whitty Street Public Toilet Excavation works are taking place for the construction of a passenger adit and one of the Hong Kong University Station entrances. To minimize the excavation works impacts to the nearby buildings, decking has been placed to cover most of the site area. Pok Fu Lam Road next to Yam Pak Building, HKU Shaft excavation works were completed and structural works have started within the shafts to form the entrance. Belcher’s Street Sitting-out Area Structural works, road reinstatement and drainage works of the Hong Kong University station entrance are in progress. Hill Road Excavation of the Hong Kong University Station entrance and passenger adit is in progress. Kennedy Town Praya Shaft The track laying works for the up-track railway tunnel from Kenney Town station toward Hong Kong University station have completed while the works at the down-track railway tunnel are in progress. Western District Public Cargo Working Area The two temporary tipping halls continue to operate to ship away excavated materials by sea. The fully-enclosed conveyor belt will be demolished in stages in April and May 2013. Victoria Road – Temporary Underground Magazine Site Temporary Underground Magazine continues to be in operation for storage of explosives for WIL blasting works.

	Ex-Kennedy Town Swimming Pool Construction of the Kennedy Town Station structure is being carried out. Station platform structural works and track laying works are completed. The works are covered with noise decking so as to minimize the noise and dust nuisance. Forbes Street Playground Construction of the Kennedy Town Station box at the Forbes Street work site is nearly complete. Structural works for the station entrance and ventilation facilities are in progress. Sands Street The construction of the escalator and lifts at Sands Street was completed and the facilities were available for public use on 27 December 2012. Meanwhile, the pavement widening works and road reinstatement works at Rock Hill Street are in process.   Kennedy Town Ex-Police Quarter Track laying works and ventilation shaft construction works are in progress at Kennedy Town overrun tunnel.
